Last night our little family went to see the beautiful colors on the trees around Silver Lake, up Big Cottonwood Canyon. We knew this would be our last chance since we most likely will see snow this weekend. Winter is coming.....
It was quite cold when we got up there. While most people feel this is a hike, it's really a walk around a boardwalk so we got our double stroller out and pushed the kids around while we ate dinner on the go. When I am away from the city and am surrounded by the BEAUTIES of the earth my heart sings and my mind slows down. It's like someone helps me destress. I'm sad the summer passed by without us getting warn out of the outdoors. Next year.

It's was around 50 degree outside and Abigail wouldn't wear a coat. Aaron asked her if she was cold and she told him no and Aaron proceeded to explain the reason for her blue lips and shaking body is that her body was cold... she still wouldn't wear her coat.

Yeah I am the first comment! Sounds like fun. It is freezing up here also. I can't believe this cold front. I keep hoping for some warmer weather still. I just got my garden beds all rota tilled to day. I am all ready for a garden this year. Keep those kids warm

Oh my goodness!!! That takes me back to so many Sundays in my childhood. We love Silver Lake. I love that you are all decked out for the cold too. We are still pretty warm here in D.C. I get anxious for the cold when Halloween comes around.
