Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day is over, it went by so quickly, probably because we had so much fun. The rush is over and now our minds are preoccupied with thinking about goals for the new year. I love a fresh start!
We had a wonderful Christmas. For the first time on Christmas Eve we reenacted the Christmas story with my brothers and sister's families. The kids were overly excited sheep, Ayden had a sheep costume on, but ended up being baby Jesus since I forgot to bring a doll. A friend reminded me Aydens costume fit right in with his part -- Jesus is the Lamb:) The individuals with BEAUTIFUL voices were angels and the others were wise men. It all work out lovely. I was listen to a talk by Elder Lund and he mentioned something about the situation in Bethlemhem that I found very intersting. The Inn where Mary and Joseph inquired to find a place to stay was not really an ideal place. Back then a room in the Inn would have been open for everyone to see you in. They would have had no peace or quiet since the inn was very busy and crowded with people. It was a blessing to have been born in a stall. Isn't it amazing that a God above knows everything. He knows whats best for each of us, including where his son should be born.
I'm truly grateful for a season to remember Christ's birth and pray our society won't totally outlaw our freedoms to celebrate his life and say Merry Christmas.

We love you all and will write more soon.
